Accommodation Information

If you are interested in traveling to Hawaii to compete in, or watch, the HIPC, here’s some information:

We’ve put together two group airfare dates:

•Trip 1; a four-night, five-day trip to compete in the HIPC.

• Trip 2; a 12-night, 13-day trip to compete in both the HIPC and the Quicksilver Molokai race.

TRIP 1: Hawaiian Air
Depart: Thursday, July 17

Return: Monday, July 21
st, Honolulu to LAX

TRIP 2
: Hawaiian Air
Depart: Wednesday, July 16
th, LAX to Honolulu
Return: Monday, July 28
th, Honolulu to LAX

Group Rates
Our California group airfare is $458 including tax. Hawaiian Air has agreed to freight our boards on these flights for a nominal charge of $50 each way. You will be responsible for packing your own board and getting to the airport three hours early. If you show up late your board may not get on your plane and will be shipped on another flight – which means you’ll be hanging out at the Honolulu airport for a few hours waiting for your stick to show up.

Booking Seats
For the group package, there are 40 seats available on both trips. The seats are first-come, first-served. There is NO variation in the dates (guaranteed dates are the only way to secure these fares). If you’d like to book space on one of these trips, please call Derek Levy at 310-920-6645. Be prepared to send a non-refundable check for $458 made out to the Southern California Paddleboard Club after you book seats with Derek.

Renting Wheels
If you want wheels while you’re on the island, you’ll need to make your own rental car reservations. You can call Hertz at 1-800-654-2210 or Avis at 1-800-331-1212.
