What:
Bring
the kids and join in on the fun competition. The Hennesseys International
Paddleboard Championship is hosting a keiki paddleboard race
at Waimea Bay. This short race will provide an opportunity for
the kids to "get their feet wet" with a paddleboard
race in beautiful Waimea Bay. The race is open to everyone under
15 years old and is free of charge. At the conclusion of the
main race the kids will get a chance to compete in their own
race in the Bay.
Race
is free for kids under 15. Soft boards provided courtesy
of the North Shore Lifeguard Association. Rash guard
provided free to all competitors as well as trophies
for 1st through 3rd overall. We are
hosting a parent kid tandem event as well at the end of the
keiki races. We will have two-time Molokai paddleboard champions
Jamie Mitchell and Mick Dibetta form Australia on hand to
answer questions and provide technique tips
