Hennessey’s Tavern presentsThe Hennessey’s Paddleboard FestivalFeaturing the U.S. Paddleboard Championships Hermosa Beach, CaliforniaDOWNLOAD INFOOn Saturday, July 7, 2007, Hennessey’s Taverns of California is proud to host the Hennessey’s Paddleboard Festival – an exciting open ocean 12 mile race to the R-10 buoy and back. The race begins and ends at southside of the pier in Hermosa Beach. The Body Glove yacht will lead the way! This promises to be a fun-filled, event with top competitors hailing from across the United States, and will include Stand Up divisions. This is an open-ocean, near-shore race. Support boats and lifeguard jet skis will be in the water for your safety. In the race tradition of Hennessey’s Taverns and the Southern California Paddleboard Club, a full-blown luau will follow the race in front of Hennessey’s Tavern on Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach. Come listen to the sounds of the great Ziggy Marley and enjoy the award ceremony, plate lunch, and massive raffle immediately following the race. Family and friends who would like to share in the luau are welcome to do so for an additional charge.
